◉ Your blueprint

Updating your birth data after your blueprint is generated

◆ 4 min readUpdated

How (and when) to correct a typo in your birth date, time, or location without breaking your saved Architect threads or calendar entries.

The short version#

Birth date and time changes require a support ticket — they rebuild all nine system calculations and every saved prediction tied to your profile. Birth place (city) and current location are self-serve. This is a deliberate safety gate, not a technical limitation.

What triggers a full rebuild#

  • Birth date — rebuilds Western chart, Ba Zi pillars, Numerology, Zi Wei Dou Shu, and Qi Men Dun Jia.
  • Birth time — rebuilds your Ascendant (Western), Hour pillar (Ba Zi), and Qi Men hour chart.
  • Birth city — rebuilds house cusps (Western) and recalculates the timezone offset used by Ba Zi.

Current-location changes (for transits and Dataset B calculations) do not rebuild the blueprint — they only change which timezone is used for daily pillars and cosmic weather. Update as often as you travel.

How to request a birth-data change#

  1. Email [email protected] from your account email (we match by sender address so replies are secure).
  2. Include the field you want to change and the correct value — no need to explain why.
  3. You will receive a verification link within a few hours; click it to confirm.
  4. The blueprint rebuild takes about 8 seconds and runs while you wait.
Edit only to correct an error — not to try a different chart. Saved Architect threads, journal entries, and calendar predictions tied to the old data are flagged so you can audit what changed.

What happens to old saved content#

Architect conversation history stays intact — nothing is deleted. Entries made before the change are flagged with "based on prior birth data" so you know when context drifted. Saved calendar events keep their original dates but show the old-vs-new system reading side by side so you can compare.
