A small thank-you #
KAXANTA exists because of traditions, open-source work, and the many small decisions that carried these nine systems across centuries and into this screen. This page names what we can. If we have missed a source, tell us and we will add it.
Nothing original here is truly original. Everything is an interpretation of interpretations. We try to be honest about that.
Traditions we draw from #
KAXANTA interprets nine traditional systems. We are grateful to the lineages that carried them:
- Human Design — a contemporary synthesis by Ra Uru Hu (1948–2011). "Human Design" is a trademark claimed by Jovian Archive Media Pte. Ltd. Gate interpretations and descriptive content here are original compositions; the mechanical calculations use astronomical facts. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or licensed by Jovian Archive.
- Ba Zi (八字) & Qi Men Dun Jia (奇門遁甲) — Chinese calendar and time-selection systems refined across dynasties.
- Xuan Kong Da Gua & Flying Stars Feng Shui — 24-mountain and 9-palace conventions from classical Chinese geomantic literature.
- Water Formula (水法) — traditional Dragon Gate water-method conventions.
- Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗數) — traditional Chinese astrology of the Purple Star.
- Pythagorean numerology — Western numerical system adapted from classical Greek and Jewish mystical traditions. In the public domain.
- Tropical Western astrology — natal positions and transits computed from astronomical data.

Open-source software #
KAXANTA is built on — and grateful for — the following open-source projects:

Typography & design #
The type system is foundational to how KAXANTA feels. Thanks to:
The geometric ◆ ◇ ◈ glyph language draws on I Ching trigram conventions reworked for screen. Dark-mode palette and iconography developed in-house.
Accessibility commitment #
KAXANTA is committed to digital accessibility. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which opts you out of optional analytics and advertising measurement automatically — no banner interaction needed.
If you experience any accessibility barrier, please email privacy@kaxanta.com and we will address it.
Colophon #
Written and maintained by a small team across Europe. Built on coffee, voice notes, and a refusal to ship cosmic language we don't believe.
Everything here is served from infrastructure we operate, with two exceptions we will not be coy about: if you accept optional cookies, a Google Analytics tag and a Meta Pixel load as well. Decline and they never do. The Privacy Policy sets out precisely what they receive.
