Envoy Palace
In Qi Men Dun Jia, the palace where the Envoy (值符 Zhi Fu), chief of the nine deities, stands: always the same palace the hour’s Duty Star has flown into.
What this means
It is the hour’s seat of authority: the direction from which decisions, permissions and backing come. It is not the Duty Door (值使 Zhi Shi), which walks one palace per double hour and often stands elsewhere: the Duty Door names the action or method of approach, the Envoy Palace the authority behind it.
