Eight Deities

In Qi Men Dun Jia, the eight deities of the rotating plate (轉盤), laid around the eight outer palaces; the Flying Plate that KAXANTA casts uses nine (九神).

What this means

The eight: Zhi Fu (Chief), Teng She (Serpent), Tai Yin (Moon), Liu He (Harmony), Bai Hu (White Tiger) or Gou Chen (Hook), Xuan Wu (Dark Warrior) or Zhu Que (Red Bird), Jiu Di (Nine Earth), Jiu Tian (Nine Heaven). The Flying Plate adds Tai Chang (Constant), seats Gou Chen and Zhu Que (Phoenix) in Yang Dun where Yin Dun seats Bai Hu and Xuan Wu, and flies all nine from the Duty Star’s palace through the nine palaces, the center included — forward in Yang Dun, backward in Yin. Each deity modifies the energy of its palace.
