In plain English
If you live in the EU or EEA, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to request a full refund for your subscription — no justification required, no forms, no hoops. This right is protected by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU, Article 9). It applies to the first paid charge after your free trial ends.
Everyone starts with a 7-day free trial. You are never charged during the trial. The 14-day refund window begins on the day the first real charge clears.
EU/EEA 14-day withdrawal
Under Consumer Rights Directive Art. 9, consumers in the EU or EEA may withdraw from a distance-purchase contract within 14 days without reason. To exercise your right, email [email protected] within 14 days of the first charge with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving your request. If you requested immediate access to the service and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully provided, your refund may be pro-rated for usage — see the next section.
Cancellation, any time
Outside the 14-day withdrawal window, you can cancel your subscription at any time from Account Settings → Subscription. Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period — no partial-period refunds are issued after the withdrawal window has closed.
If you prefer to pause rather than cancel, a 30-day pause is available from the cancellation flow. Pausing holds your plan in place without charging you and resumes automatically at the end of the pause period.
How to reach us
Send a one-line email to [email protected] with the subject "Refund request" and the email address on your account. We typically respond within 3 business days and process the refund in the same reply.
For non-EU customers, or for refunds outside the 14-day statutory window, use the same address. We consider each case on its merits — long-standing customers and first-time charges are almost always refunded on request.
