Yin/Yang

The foundational duality in Chinese philosophy: Yin (receptive, dark, cool, internal) and Yang (active, bright, warm, external).

What this means

Every element, stem, branch, and star has a Yin or Yang polarity. Balance between Yin and Yang is a central goal in all Chinese wisdom traditions.

In practice

In K A X A N T A, yin/yang is one of the concepts The Architect cross-references when synthesising your reading. The cross-system engine surfaces it alongside seven other wisdom traditions so you can see how the same question reads through multiple lenses.
