Xuan Kong Da Gua · Glossary
Sector Analysis
Reading a property one compass sector at a time, the way Flying Star and Eight Mansions Feng Shui work.
What this means
Xuan Kong Da Gua does not give a building one hexagram per sector: its 64-hexagram ring assigns hexagrams to bearings 5.625° wide, and a building is read from the hexagram it faces and the one behind it.
In practice
In KAXANTA, sector analysis is one of the concepts KAXANTA cross-references when synthesising your reading. The xuan kong da gua engine surfaces it alongside eight other wisdom traditions so you can see how the same question reads through multiple lenses.
