Qi Men Dun Jia · Glossary
Period Assessment
The seven-step verdict Qi Men Dun Jia issues for a time window or sector, from Greatly Auspicious through Neutral to Greatly Inauspicious.
What this means
It compresses a palace's whole configuration — door, star, deity, and stem relations — into one grade, so two hours with the same door can still differ when their supporting cast does.
In practice
In KAXANTA, period assessment is one of the concepts KAXANTA cross-references when synthesising your reading. The qi men dun jia engine surfaces it alongside eight other wisdom traditions so you can see how the same question reads through multiple lenses.
