Dragon Gate
龍門八局, the Dragon Gate Eight Formations: a San Yuan water formula that reads where water should arrive at a building and where it should leave.
What this means
Its one input is the palace the building sits in; from it eight positions follow — 先天 and 後天, where arriving water helps; 賓 and 客; the exits 天劫 and 案劫; 地刑 and 輔卦. The occupant’s Kua does not enter it.
In practice
In KAXANTA, dragon gate is one of the concepts KAXANTA cross-references when synthesising your reading. The water formula engine surfaces it alongside eight other wisdom traditions so you can see how the same question reads through multiple lenses.
